Structure
Harvard operates with a Mayor-Council form of city governance. The Mayor serves a four-year term, while the six Council members—two from each ward—serve four-year staggered terms. All terms begin in January and end in December of their respective years.
The City Council meets in the Community Room at 128 N Harvard Ave on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Sessions run as long or as little as the agenda requires. All citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend.
